Ingredients – Parts

  • 3 parts Elderflower
  • 2 parts Elderberry
  • 2 parts Rose Hips
  • 1 part Hibiscus
  • 1 part Ginger Root
  • 1 part Orange Peel

Directions

Combine the dried herbs thoroughly.

Use 1 tablespoon of the blend per 8 ounces of hot water.

Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.

Strain and enjoy warm.

For a refreshing summer tea, allow the infusion to cool and serve over ice with fresh lemon or orange.

Herbalist's Tip

For a naturally sweeter cup, add a small amount of honey after the tea has cooled slightly.


🫐 SonLife Organics Elderberry Wellness Syrup

This traditional-style elderberry syrup is a wonderful addition to a seasonal wellness routine.

Ingredients

  • 4 parts dried Elderberries
  • 1 part dried Elderflower
  • 1 part Ginger Root
  • ½ part Cinnamon
  • ½ part dried Orange Peel
  • Water
  • Honey

Directions

Place the herbs in a saucepan and add approximately 4 parts water for every 1 part total dried herbs.

Bring to a gentle simmer.

Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until the liquid has reduced by approximately half.

Strain thoroughly, pressing the herbs to extract the liquid.

Allow the liquid to cool to lukewarm.
